However, in a context marked by growing legal, political and institutional challenges, it is necessary to reflect on its practical application, identify obstacles and promote strategies to reinforce its effectiveness and legitimacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this project, FIBGAR promotes spaces for specialised dialogue, academic research and strategic advocacy with the aim of<strong> generating up-to-date knowledge, strengthening international partnerships and developing operational recommendations aimed <\/strong>at legal practitioners, public policy makers, civil society organisations and other actors committed to international justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this initiative, <strong>during 2026<\/strong> various international meetings have already been held in different regions of the world. In <strong>March<\/strong>, the event<a href=\"https:\/\/fibgar.es\/la-jurisdiccion-universal-como-herramienta-para-la-justicia-de-genero-reflexiones-desde-nueva-york\/\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/fibgar.es\/la-jurisdiccion-universal-como-herramienta-para-la-justicia-de-genero-reflexiones-desde-nueva-york\/\"><em>\u201cGender Justice and Universal Jurisdiction\u201d<\/em><\/a> took place in <strong>New York<\/strong>, organised in collaboration with the Guatemalan Women\u2019s Association (AMG) within the framework of the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70). That same month, FIBGAR organised the seminar<a href=\"https:\/\/fibgar.es\/la-jurisdiccion-universal-en-debate-desde-america-latina-aportes-tensiones-y-horizontes-para-la-justicia-internacional\/\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/fibgar.es\/la-jurisdiccion-universal-en-debate-desde-america-latina-aportes-tensiones-y-horizontes-para-la-justicia-internacional\/\"><em>\u201cUniversal Jurisdiction: Critical Perspectives from Latin America\u201d<\/em><\/a> in <strong>Buenos Aires<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Fray Bartolom\u00e9 de las Casas Institute.
