In 2015 and 2016, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the beginning of Operation Nécora, which was a turning point in the fight against drug trafficking, FIBGAR promoted a series of conferences in universities that addressed the impact that the operation had on Galician and Spanish societies, as well as on the prosecution of drug trafficking, on the economy and on its perception through journalistic treatment.
The conferences took place at the University of Santiago de Compostela and Vigo in October and November 2015 and March 2016.
